Why couldn't learning take place at many levels, conditioning, habituation, so that what we thing of as mental illness, at least in some cases could be looked at another way as a kind of mental and emotional confusion, and since we do not have a model of all the "lessons" at all the levels that needs to take place within certain parameters and tolerances we do not know how to test and diagnose what things are wrong, let alone how to re-condition people's brains?
