Intelligence as we view it ... reverse the "God created man in his own image" ... man created God as a virtual image of what we wanted to be, but can never be ... and that is intelligent. A consciousness must always guess, and depending on its initial conditions and what information it has readily available - that means primed to use, it will make non-optimal plans and suggestions. AI is impossible because humans are not what we think we are; human are not intelligent. Look at this planet and what we have done to it, and what we do to each other. Though we understand that problems of over-population we refuse to discuss it or do anything about it. We will most likely destroy ourselves before we attain an intelligent social code of equality and consciousness - until then we will just be about figuring out how to cheat each other and the planet out of resources, energy and domination to please our baser instincts.
