  2. I doubt anyone cares if our negative feelings about the obese are any more in error than our feelings about minorities or women or any of the BS nonsense that runs our society. It's whatever generates the most money for nastiest people that's what gets the attention and defense. We have known all kinds of stuff about our unhealthy activities that are promoted or ignored, and immoral or unjust ... no one seems to care or know what to do about it.

  4. But Barnards studies do not refute what this guy is saying because he is quoting statistics where some people do not fit in. Also, Barnard's solution are plant based and less starches and sugars ... just what this guy is saying. So you are biased in favor of Barnard's interpretation while not being informed or an expert on the science. Barnard and others are trying to sell stuff remember.

  5. true ... but not much information here. his open-mindedness leaves him with no book to sell, no diet to recommend, no clinic to open, etc. That is what most of these dr.s are doing - making a living.
