  1. There's probably a good point here somewhere. This maker/individual empowerment stuff is fine and good ... hell, it's great, but the over-riding meme since the 20th century ... and into this one is that when people get together they create enormous power and that power's destructiveness when driven by just a few people who take the power from other people is affecting increasingly more people and more environment in a destructive way every moment without any thought, discussion or moderation.
