Misconduct? I don't know what to think of this. Was it like a murder, rape or a horrible trauma to his victim? What was it. What did he do? If he did not really do anything traumatic, does society watch him for the rest of his life and he has to register as a sex offender?
It seems good to have society thinking about it, but there is so much ambiguity, and who knows if he is telling the truth or being honest, or just trying to make money.
It may start with making money, being paid to talk about it, and it may not be honest, but this is a subject that may take decades for the public to digest or understand if not centuries. Then, what does understand mean. Psychiatrists think they understand the criminal mind and they are constantly wrong about whether someone is a danger when you let them go, even know.
No one likes labels, especially if they are permanent and negative. He is a human being, and very alone right now, the whole world knows about him. If he gets depressed and commits suicide ... do we feel sorry for him? But then I don't know really what he did. Does he deserve permanent hatred from the world for his mistake in life? Someone a lot wiser than me should answer that.
