  1. If we do not educate out own people we better just export them over to China or India where they can get jobs because they will get nothing here in the US. Seriously, when the world got complicated enough we had a school system and people had to get a high-school education.  Now people need more than that, and our economy needs investment so we can quit sending jobs and salaries overseas. We have to quit the dumbing down of Americans and stop letting it that the only people who get education and connections to the job force be the very rich.  It doesn't make sense to keep dumping on the American people.  Also, when there is a little competition from the government in higher education the costs of private school will come down too.
