  1. I love Bernie ... but America is a messed up place. Why in a country of about 320-350 million people do we only have ONE Bernie Sanders? We should have tens of thousands of guys like Bernie in and out of the government working to sustain and grow the middle class and keep the elites in check.

Bernie needs to drive home how in the US our tax money is minimized so it can go to private oligarchies associated with different industries ... none of whom have served the people well for the last 50 years since they started taking over and abusing the system. They are basically using the population as slaves, just as the fascists did in Germany, only slightly nicer and more in the background ... until Trump at least. The public sector is disinvested in, just a form of class genocide, which is unfamiliar to the people of the planet because we really have not every had that seen before. Most genocides were against distinct minorities. Now in the US unless we break the current system into nothing we will be creating millions of sick, depressed, ignorant and unhappy people and a future of incredible costs ... that the establishment basically urges us to PUT BEHIND US, like we have all of our genocides. We need to take back the public space and make the country about the people, PERIOD. No capitulation or compromise on that. The people who have stolen our country blind will need to come back down to the ground and forfeit a lot of money they have stolen from the people, and from the commons. That means back to 90% taxation rates on the richest people so that they are unable to form these political and financial dynasties. That needs to end.

  6. VK ... Under our current laws and values there is really no way to get money out of politics. Especially with the Supreme Court the way it is one speech. We are pretty much screwed if we play by the rules, that is just the way it is, the criminals have the whole bag locked up and there is no way to attack that does not allow them time and means to rebuff the attack. Americans have been stupid and may have lost the whole country at this point. I think if it is true that money is speech, then we need to take the money away from those who would interfere with elections. WE need to re-fund our government. Raise the progressive tax and knock down the wealth and power of those would try to OWN the system. We need a maximum wage, and a maximum amount of wealth, some kind of wealth surtax to prevent the creation of super-rich people who own the media like Rupert Murdoch. That would be illegal in most countries. The US is a new breed of fascism and that means it is just pretending to be the American of old that we all grew up in. Some still pretend, but it is not the same. The way to take it back without violence is to demand that those very richest people and companies serve the public interest first and again. Only when there is not a financial crisis will the threat of this Republicans takeover be gone for good. Otherwise they have been working on this for 40 years, they are not going to stop this financial crisis from killing all social programs and turning the US into another Russia or China ... and the rest of the world better really worry then because one of the three will soon be coming after you.
