  1. You see, if you want to get rid of the minimum wage, then you have to have the social programs to take care of those who cannot live under that regime. It was Ronald Reagan who espoused the negative income tax as a solution to this problem ... but conservatives just plain do not care and are adamant against doing anything for people but letting them die that has led to what we have now ... the explosion of meanness and toxicity in civic life.

  2. I'd love to see this Heritage Foundation dweeb debate Dr. Robert Reich and get mopped all over the floor. The idea that the Heritage Foundation gets to judge and take charge of people it finds some reason to call idle, when we have high unemployment and the structure of the economy is changing is disgusting. Not to mention to the other Senator who does not like the minimum wage that the negative income tax was Ronald Reagan's solution to welfare.
