  2. Cool! Enough-ism, and voluntary poverty. The developed world would happy with that pretty much all our problems would disappear shortly. A little insulation probably wouldn't be more than enough though.

  3. I thought this interview was very good. It was months or years too late, and Putin should do this regularly - but also allow US representatives to talk to an open audience of Russia and America. And even Ukraine. Develop a debate and concensus among the people. I think my country is caught in a situation where we look bad because we have this old anti-Russia attitude that most people do not want to continue because we need peace and cooperation in this world. I do think that Russia is an economic threat to the US in Europe, but as Putin said, so is China. It is mystifying to me while we let China, the real and much bigger threat slide in trade and sanctions while we pick and pick year after year at Russia. America does not want to have to compete with Russia or want Russia to develop into a strong country. There is a certain logic to this - but it has never been discussed in the American media. Our military goals never are.

  4.  @sanasananee  It really makes no sense untless somehow the Chinese have deep influence in the American foreign policy. The stupidity of this move in Ukraine to permanently push Russia towards China doesn't help America one bit, and it is has destroyed Ukraine and killed millions if you count starving people around the world, and inflation. This US is not being a very good leader.
