Galloway is saying give each baby $8000 now, in 2024, then by the time they are 65 the money should have doubled
by 125 times and they should have about $1 million.
So, how is everyone supposed to get this $1 million, and what about the people who lose in their investments?
Not to mention that in the time of my life just take the cost of a bottle of Coke. The lowest I remember it being was
$0.10, and now the cost of a Coke is about $2.00. That is 20 times more, or inflation reducing your $1 million by
20 times to about $50,000. No one can retire on $50,000 equivalent dollars.
But for this absurd stories and plans like this Galloway is a good communicator, and makes it sound like he is being
thoughtful about social and economic concerns, I don't think these ideas are as good as he makes them sound, or
that the current siutation is as bad as he makes it sound. Galloway is not really being honest in my opinion. He is
taking advantage of people's naivete' particularly young people and trying to start a war between young and old.
The current problem with Social Security can be solved by raising the SS tax, and that will help everyone.
Galloway is just another clever hip propagandist for the billionaire class. I've been listening closely to what he
says for over a year now and always there are major streaks of dishonesty in his narratives.
