  1. WHY NOT DEVELOP THE BEGINNING OF A LIVING WAGE POLICY INDEXED TO THE LOCAL COST OF LIVING ? Instead of opening the Progressive movement to criticism, why don't you talk about the cost of living in certain areas of open the discussion to economists and others who might have ideas how to index local minimum wages to the local cost of living so Bernie's and the Progressives' national minimum wage policy would not be vulnerable to political attacks from the right as being bad for business . Here in the Bay Area of California even a $15 minimum wage is still basically slow death instead of anything remotely like a Living Wage* . In other economically depressed areas $15 could actually support a person and a child.
