  1. A few weeks ago all the countries giving Ukraine weapons ... I think except Germany ... gave Ukraine permission to use their weapons against Russia. Not a good policy - in fact very stupid.

  2. Russia just wanted to keep Crimea. The US has been trying to collapse Russia since the end of WWII, and the plan to peel off Ukraine from Russia, including Crimea. We couped the Ukrainian government and then began to move Ukraine towards NATO which would have put missiles too close to Russsia, and also would have taken Crimea - Russia's warm water port. So of course Russia attacked Ukraine, and the idea Russia wants to recreate the USSR is absurd. the EU has 4 times the population and 10 times the economic power of Russia - not counting non-EU allies. This is just not good, and will lead to WWIII.
