  12. There are so many points of major and destructive difference between Obama and Trump. Obama got lies thrown at him constantly and still does - Trump has something wrong with him. I don't think Obama was a great President, he was a placeholder, a guy who kept the country together while we recovered from Iraq/Economic crash ... but Trump is a complete tyrant - unilaterally deciding to destroy who sectors of the government and the economy. We cannot have Trump. When Trump was first elected I was hopeful that he might actually be able to do what he said he could do ... but after muck-up after muck-up almost every day on every issue with every person or leader he comes in contact with. You cannot do this false-equivalency thing with Trump and Obama. Obama never lied about Bush or defamed him. Come on, wake up.

I think Trump probably intended to do a Chris Christie on Mitt Romney ... that is schmooze Romney, get some support based on a promise that he would turn around and renege on and then insult Romney. I think Trump is a cute little celebrity baby monster shaping up to be an ugly and very real monster.

He says they are using carbon emissions to create clean energy alternatives and sources, like wind turbines, solar panels, EVs ... but whoever makes those products will have to do the same. What is his alterative? He sounds like he just wants to shut China down when China is essentially doing the right thing. It is American sour grapes because we've been relying on our capital and military to drive our stupid market only based solutions. I am not saying the market is bad, but when capital is in the hands of a small elites, the market cannot function well, especially when data and facts and opinions are stifled in the way our media and social media does to Americans - not to mention monopolies, and elites who have undue influence with government.

  21. I'm a Democrat, and a Biden supporter. Not a giant fan of Kamala, but I wish she would have won. BUT, Krugman is a fool if he things everything is coming up roses. Virtually every time I go grocery shopping the bill rings up higher ... and significantly so. I but stuff through Amazon subscriber system that sells me a basket of goods that I buy regularly for a supposed discount price. Everything I get went up by $4 - $6 in the last few months. That's anecdotal, but this is BS and it needs to end. Biden did nothing. I am not unhappy that he created more jobs than any other President ... if Presidents actually do create jobs, but so what? America is sick, and in order to keep their high status and power our billionaire class is squeezing Americans more and more - and for what?
