And by the way, "F" Tucker Carlson for having a "Roosevelt Dead" picture in view of the camera - totally shows his whole point of living ... not to deliver news or even opinion, just to agitate and promote Right-wing insurrectionist noise and nonsense.

Like what, please give me an example ... I've never listened to the guy and all I hear is negativity ... so, why is he smart?

24:00 - Pine panelling is better and the same expense as drywall? That's absurd. If you want natural wood you better be very rich, which I guess Tucker Carlson is ... still though, let's cut down the Amazon rainforest so we can all not have to be exposed to drywall? Now that is idiotic.

NATO has already been re-purposed years ago ... that is what Afghanistan, Kosovo, Syria, etc were.

@annatanneberger1 You sound like you are interested in understanding BS and propaganda. Check this out that covers it from both sides by a US professor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-RlNxjtcxA watch?v=9-RlNxjtcxA

@annatanneberger1 Honestly, if you do not think a disease that has killed a million Americans is a dreadful disease - I don't know what to say. Why the nasty comeback when I asked you a question?

@annatanneberger1 OK. What I see happen on YouTube lately is that cut-and-paste is dodgy. Also, in some cases you can edit a comment, and in others the edited comment looks like it took but it gets cancelled and deleted. They seem to be trying to make it difficult for people to communicate here, not easier. I think they just like it when all the comments are like airheads saying how great every video is.

@annatanneberger1 I don't need to know that. It's not a valid metric to judge by. It's like saying the war in Afghanistan was nothing because America only lost a few thousand soldiers.

@annatanneberger1 You edited a medical journal? - That proves nothing, but I doubt that very much. Maybe you might have proof-read, but I even doubt that. That give you no credibility anyway, there are doctors who supported Ivermectin and the President supported shining UV light up your butt and drinking bleach. It was a million people dead, and that was with vaccines, and social distancing, etc. The hospitals were so overloaded they could not accept patients and they died. There were so many dead people they have to bury people in mass graves. Maybe people had their own motives, but the most responsible people had the motives of saving lives and holding the system together. Honestly, you are sick person and I don't want to hear any more of your disgusting BS.

Carlson is an intelligent person underneath the layers of BS. His problem is that he used it to lie and mislead. He cares only for money and the people who pay him so well want lies and misinformation, tinged with a little intelligence and a dusting of some half-truths.

@annatanneberger1 Maybe most, certainly not every. You are the kind of person who lives by exaggeration because you cannot compute nuance. You're funny. You could call it courage if it actually cost him something. It's not courage, it's ratings and demographics, sadly.

@annatanneberger1 > However, being limited to one-line responses, you are not in a position to judge my depth of character or ability to understand nuance. I'd agree, and intended no such judgement. Funny as in views that are curious to me, that's all. I can see Tucker Carlson is a smart guy, and surprisingly I find him quite personable and thoughtful on these questions. I guess the time to say something about it might have been a long while back, but I don't recall every hearing him communicating this. Perhaps because it would not have gone over well with his far-right audience. The nuance comment was judgemental and to the extent that it closed off my ability to understand what the heck you see in Carlson I apologize. "The Spectator" is a great source of information and interviews and appeals across political divide. Peter Hitchens is a favorite of mine.

> Tucker is priceless. Think you mean worthless.
1
That's funny, you should write a book or a movie about that idea.

I think the BS is about 3' south of his nose.
1
@Verziroo Ya poor sod, you must have a very pathetic life to compute it is worth your time to spend it like that.

This, or parts of this, are the first and only time I think I've ever heard Tucker Carlson make sense. It would be great if he would concentrate on stuff like this, except he uses the multiple truths to push one lie.

Where is he ... in his closet? Can't stand this guy on 90% of stuff, but he's not always wrong, and some of what he says makes sense. Is that reason to broadcast him all over the world though?
