  1. Great point on the delay of the chorus. I never noticed it or thought about it ... this not being one of my favorite songs - but it is a kick-ass tune, and now that you mention it, I see "what makes this song great". That is, the ascension as you say of the chord progression ... as in struggling ... a fight ... a long slog .... and the resolution of the chorus is delayed because the whole point of the song is, no matter how long it takes - don't stop believing. It is actually really brilliant, and I'm glad I watched this video, among others. It's interesting to see the thought that goes into some of these tunes, they are truly works of art with a lot of crafting ... even if it is only rock and roll!
