  1. If I stop for a break a lot of times I won't start up again. Once I get going on something I am pretty determined ... it's getting to that point that is hard unless there is a deadline or bad consequence.

  2. Writing an essay is an almost mechanical process. First, you need a thesis. How do you feel about your subject? Then, figure out why, or what facts lead you to have that feelings. Then, write your essay as follows. As my English 1A professor at Foothill College, Prof. Ron Ingalls, may he rest in peace, told us in the 1980's ... First, tell them what you are going to tell them. ( first paragraph ) Second, tell them. ( body of essay ) Third, tell them what you told them. ( last paragraph )

  3. I can't imagine even a few days of that. I hope you are OK. All the other developed countries have social support systems for families and young children ... except the greatest country in the world.
