  3.  @joanburbank3667  Parts of every American city are like that ... more and more under Republican administrations - starting with Reagan. And yeah, if we cannot afford to live somewhere we have to find somewhere to move that's cheaper. SF is crowded because it is popular, beautiful, and the weather is awesome. Keep saying that it's awful though will keep more people from moving there. Great ... it's not a competition. I live about 20 miles south.

  5. Last night saw Shellenberger on Bill Maher. He appeared very intelligent, but more importantly good judgement about when to talk and when to listen. He is a thoughtful guy, demonstrated by the video where he discussed nuclear power. He just character assassinated himself by this pandering to the extreme Right, and bashing the Left. Sure, there's arguments that the Left is not doing what they say they want to do, but to just play blame the Left for that without any analysis is totally wrongheaded. If I had just seem the nuclear power video and Shellenberger had never gone to the Trump side I might have voted for him - because I am very unhappy with Gavin Newsom's performance as governor and was looking for another candidate to vote for - even if just for a symbolic vote, but there was nothing, no one else that I thought experienced, intelligent and honest enough even to throw my vote away on. Shellenberger could have been the one, but anyone who jumps on the slam to libtards bandwagon is a complete idiot, and anyone who actually takes the time to write a book all about it, whatever it has to say, has bad judgement at the least, and is being manipulated by some extreme right-wing backers. This is a real pity.
