  1. Nuclear fusion is no where near even the breakeven point of energy in to energy out ... let alone actually producing power - and it may never be viable.

  2. Solar is nice ... I'd like to have solar on my roof, but solar needs nuclear backup, but nuclear does not need solar. Also, solar takes up land - and land is a non-renewable resource ... God is not making any more land on planet Earth. Also, if there is a dust storm, or meteor strike, or a nuclear war, or a massive volcano eruption - that dust can go all around the world and choke off solar for millions of people for weeks at a time.

  3. It is sad that it has taken so long to get the planet up and running ... but it does not matter how long it takes or how much it costs because in 15-20 years it will all be paid off and be pure profit producing totally CO2-free power for many decades.
