Mostly seems like she is trying to avoid asking - what the hell is going on here. She must realize the gig is up and she is busted. What a horrible story, and person. One wonders who the hell they are hiring in the LAPD.

the question is what would an innocent person feel like and have behaved like in a situation like this. They call you in for a consultation about an art theft ... why are you asking me personal questions about a relationship. One has to wonder if she recalled that bite and if she ever thought about her DNA liability there? What a psycho. They had the DNA, so they get her on tape and show her funny expressions with some expert making something about everything she says ... but we also know that police have a horrible record of interrogations and abuse of suspects. Seems weird, but glad they caught her, one wonders what other kinds of things she had done in her life as a cop?

That's good point .... take some of that psychology and look at people in their normals lives and you would uncover the same disgusting BS. Acting, John seems like he should have gotten an academy award for that speech.

In other words, she knows all the different ways the LAPD cheats and pins cases on suspects in the past and from the inside.

Having just found this, I have to wonder if this John Ruttan, also a cop, was playing all these women and maybe others. Marry his wife, but continue having this affair with someone he knows was a psycho ... maybe he took out a huge life insurance policy on his wife and aimed this obviously insecure and unstable lady at her. What might he have said to Sherry to amp her jealousy and hate up. With all the BS that has been found out about the LAPD they should look at that guy too.

Scary to think about who becomes a cop. She seems mainly put in a situation where she doesn't want to chance or challenge her regular daily life, but almost immediately she must realize that these questions are closing in on her crime ... an incredibly brutal crime. A lot of this narrative relies on expert opinion that seems to be heavily weighed towards picking out things they want to think, but may not have a reason to think. The kicker is the DNA evidence thank good they had that.
