  9. Except the US broke that treaty didn't it? It began arming Ukraine with weapons and training, making contacts with their far right nationalists / Nazis, and sending trainers in and taking soldiers on NATO missions. Also helping the right-wing Ukrainians outlaw speaking Russian, and helping them attack the ethnic Russian areas. It is nauseating how all of this is totally ignored and left out of the American news media.

  11. I think we have to consider what America is doing on the world, and how we are spinning it. Canda & Britain both have universal health care - and the US has been sneaking in the side door to supply private third party service to the point where we are taking over ( with the help of both countries' governments ) their health care systems to privatize them - and what's more we are doing this all over the world because Bernie Sanders made people want universal health care and said we are the only developed country that does not have it. So, we went off to destroy the socialist economies that provided universal health care. That's my opinion anyway. We went in and took more and more of the business away from both systems until they dont work any more - and we are pushing Canada and Britain to give up their free health care.

  13. I've heard from Russians that Russia does this maneuver every year, e.g. massing troops on the Ukrainian border for exercises ... but they never expect there to be real trouble. I just bet that Putin wishes he had done this much earlier.

  16. Bill's idea of merit for medical school is quirky. The people who are high in merit are usually the ones who take the doctrinaire facts and thinking that he despises. I mean, it's great to be a talk show host and to be able to say anything and get a laugh, or a show, or even the Presidency, but the thinking of people who put in a majority of time and effort into being funny and popular are not usually the brainiest in the bunch, or at least not the brainiest in terms of school terms.

  24.  @eshankumar1999  I don't believe that, if there is an opportunity for Russia to be connected to Europe and the Middle East, that is where most of its culture comes from. The Chinese will always covert Russia's sparsely populated land and probably eventually cook up some kind of story about how it was Chinese at some point so they should invade. Putin has nowhere else to go thanks to dumb USA. As someone said, the purpose of NATO, cynically speaking was to KEEP the US IN, and to KEEP the USSR/RUSSIA OUT, because eventually Russia would dominate Europe like the Chinese will dominate the Pacific. The US stupidly has alienated most of South America and can only try to hold on to it by force and violence. Most other nations view China with suspicion, and that also goes for the former Soviet Asian Republics ... both China and Russia are playing this to see what they can get out of it. But your point is that there is a chance it might mesh, I just do not think a realistic one.
