  1. I agree this is a bad idea .... I think the reason some might go for it is that in many places the public schools are so bad. The Dept. of Education has not seemed to do a lot to fix the schools, so maybe if the DofE wants to save itself it should start to fix the public schools, or at least make it look like they have or are trying hard.

  2. 2:20 - Interesting how the country always hears the media slamming CA any time CA runs a budget deficit, but now we see the Arizona has a $1 billion budget deficit ... and Arizona does not have anything like the powerhouse economy of CA which is $3 trillion. Nice to see that, and would like to see some more relative economy deficits in other states compared to each other.
