The reason our political parties and media are arguing so much about whether the invastion was Ukraine's or Russia's fault is that we don't want to explore or report on America's part in starting this war. Biden had many press conferences where he said war was coming, but he did nothing to stop it, and Biden did not acknowledge or support any attempts at negotiation. Trump seemed all in on this plan since he was the first President to send weapons to Ukraine. The reality is that this was over Crimea which had belonged to Russia since the 1600's and was only shifted to Ukraine within the USSR by Kruschev in the 1950s. Russia made massive investments in Crimea, and their access to the sea and their military naval base was in Ukraine. A real mess that killed and disrupted the lives and economies all over the world, that as Sachs said should never have happened.
