Bernie is a cool politician ... I think he is very happy and proud to have gotten almost everything he wanted on the Democratic platform, and the way he gave that speech, he cooperated nobly ... so Hillary needs to offer him the VP. I will just not vote for Hillary if she picks anyone else by Bernie for VP.

You don't know what he sold out for ... I hope it was the VP-ship.

Hey Woofe ... that right there is a good argument unlike most of the obnoxious statements on You-Tube. But how do you determine the vote, and what polls are they using. How about some practical data. I would not really vote for Stein, nor want her as President, but I agree with most of the Green Party platform. The problem is they are pretty incompetent. They have been around for years and not made any inroads, and are actually losing support. Putting the Greens in the debate would be good.

Still reading through these comments we hear lots of anti-Bernie slams ... and they are all fake. Nothing will stop Bernie. He did not sell out. He played politics better than anyone on either side for the past 50 years. Still, he did not win, so he is working for his newly joined party. There is no way a real person who is paying attention to this election can spin this negative for Bernie. He is doing everything he can to push his agenda, and the people's agenda, and sadly he has to do it through Hillary Clinton. What else can he do. He has done it all with style, grace, honesty and integrity. I unreservedly love and trust Bernie Sanders ... I don't hate Hillary, but she and Bill have a history of ignoring promises and pushing Republican policies, so the only way I can vote for Hillary Clinton is if she runs with Bernie as VP. Otherwise I simply write-in Bernie's name.

And maybe I will if Bernie is the VP nominee. I use my vote the way I see fit. If Trump can win this country has problems way over what anyone can do ... it is already crushed and terminal. I liked what Bernie and Hillary had to say today ... and they made a good show together. I really liked the shout out to Jane Sanders that Hillary made, and Bernie's son. I think they are going to join forces .... I really hope so. Because I've not seen much vision or smart strategy on the part of Hillary. She works like a blundering hippo in some cases. Like having her daughter attack Bernie on Health care, and then say where was Bernie when she was doing health care, to which the Bernie campaign in minutes produced a picture of her at a health care summit with Bernie right behind her! If Hillary misses this one, she does not deserve to be President, whatever she or Bernie have to say.

PJ ... I hear you and share your perceptions ... however ... >> Sander's speech about shared objectives with him and Hilary indeed talked of noble goals, but I'm not sure how much I trust Hilary to actually follow through. I felt the same about Obama, but I ended up having to vote for him for the same reasons I am considering voting for Hillary - if she chooses Bernie for her VP. That would be proof enough or me that she was serious - else I just think she is going to do the same cynical BS that Bill did as President. Read the book Listen, Liberal for a great rundown on the Clinton administration. The problem with centrists these days is that they aren't. The center has been moved through trickery and the manipulation of the media to the right. Bill Clinton was working with Newt Gingrich on privatizing Social Security around the time of Monica Lewinsky, and he did a lot of right wing dream things ... because only a Democrat could get these things done, so the corporate money goes to Democrats now too. The only thing I can look for is reasons to trust Hillary, and I have none, EXCEPT if she nominates Bernie, that would do not ... not even Elizabeth Warren would because she was a turncost and endorsed Hillary early and sold out Bernie. Warren's stock is down in my book.

As VP Bernie would have much more visibility, and be in the news more often. Vermont would still elect a Democrat Senator, and Bernie is the Junior Senator, and in his 70's. He's be much better off as VP and keeping Hillary honest.

Dowell is a simpleminded fool, why argue with it or try to explain, that is a waste of time.

I unreservedly love and trust Bernie Sanders ... he can really be a rousing speaker ... and he proves here he can be a great asset as a team player. Bernie needs to be the VP. I don't hate Hillary, but she and Bill have a history of ignoring promises and pushing Republican policies, so the only way I can vote for Hillary Clinton is if she runs with Bernie as VP. Otherwise I simply write-in Bernie's name.
