  1. It shouldn't cost very much to grow cannabis ... it's a weed. Most people would be more than happy to have a packet of seeds and grow their own cannabis compared to paying 10 times more. It's ridiculous, I hate cannabis stores.

  2. First take - I like this guy and his calm reasoned voice. I'm skeptical of anyone running for President, but so far he's saying the right things. Talk is cheap though. I want to hear specifics on inflation, equality, health care, etc ... and now what he thinks about Israel-Hamas.

  5. I think the problem is bullying in many dimensions, class warfare, but alpha males learn or taught to "punk" or bully/dominate younger or weaker males. Same with good looks, or a large family and lots of brothers.

  7. The more I see from Ilhan Omar the more she seems to be NOT doing her job, and drawing fire onto Democrats by being unpleasant and forcing the association with "the other". I am fine with a Muslim representative, in fact, more than fine ... but the point of that is to show how a Muslim can be an American, not so show how Muslims can push their way in and try to force the rest of us to move out of the way or feel bad about not liking the way she does business. I like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, but I believe her support and connection to Ilhan Omar will pull her down, and he enthusiasm to grab attention by speaking before she has worked out what her message is. At this point, I decided, I do not like Ilhan Omar, and I would like to see her out of that office, and I want to see Democrats that do not alienate the average American - even if that seems unfair. It is not even that I do not agree with Ilham Omar on the issue with Elliot Abrams ... I knew about Abrams probably before Omar was born. I do not like him, or Reagan and Bush who he worked for. He is a criminal and probably not the right guy to have back in the government in any capacity, but I would say it is incompetent and bad that Ilhan Omar cannot make that point without drawing fire on herself and Democrats.

  12. McCain is totally right. For a position like a Supreme Court justice that serves for life you do not put someone in on such an extreme partisan vote. The last time that was done it was to put Clarence Thomas in, and we call know how well that went. The guy spent 10 years not doing his job.

  15. I don't think Fauci ever told people not to wear masks, but his first communication about that subject was ... not good. It was incomplete and did not explain what he was trying to accomplish or or why he made the recommendation he did, and that statement has been against him many times for many dishonest or confused reasons. It is unfortunate that he made it, and unfortunate that it was not quickly and LOUDLY corrected.

This was a bad week for Clinton in her attempts to use her daughter to paint Bernie as against ObamaCare or soft on gun violence ... both charges are ridiculous, meant only to pander to the low-information voter. Maybe Secretary Clinton would feel more comfortable running on the Republican side with that kind of comments. Hillary called Bernie Sanders a "flip-flopper" so many times in recent sound bytes, yet it has been her who has changed her position to get closer to his, and that seems to continue as weeks go by.

When asked objectively about government programs and policies in a non-loaded way even most Republicans prefer Bernie Sander's positions on things. But the way they have held democracy and reform at bay has been to control the media by giant corporations, where most of the money to buy and consolidate that media has come from the Defense Department and our own tax money for God's sake! The American people are being ripped off and kept in the dark.

I also think the US should be side by side Israel for as long as it takes, and stupid Ukraine has make that much harder.   48. Twitter is completely ineffective in this - not to mention just the other day Elon Musk was complaining about the ADL in support of Israel hate. Being on Twitter I have seen the ugliest comments and videos - not only hate about Israel, but videos from the news of this event. I am wavering on the knife's edge to quit Twitter, but it is all over. It is on YouTube, it is also on many, many Apple podcasts. Because of this absolute disgusting evil I support Israel in any measures they take that will end this this. I reject the idea that collateral damage in the service of defending Israel's existense in no way can be described as genocide. Genocide is what the Hamas Covenant/Charter demands of Palestinians. Apartheid is what absent rulers of the miserable masses in Palestine inflict on their own people who they only see as propaganda victims and terrorist. Finally - the Palestinian cause has no connections and is anathema to Progressive Politics and somehow it has been wedged in to discredit Progressivism.
