  6. There is a class war, no doubt - but, no way for the 99% to fight back because 1. We are dependent on the system now. No farms, no legal protections anyway. 2. All of our communications and ideas are now filtered through the internet.

  7. I never worked for Whole Foods or Amazon, but I made much more than $16 / hr and I would never think of having a family at that wage. I still do not have kids or a wife. It is lonely, but it is better to be lonely than in massive debt and be going through a divorce of having a sick child. Then they complain the American population is crashing, and then they complain there are too many immigrants. Everything we do is wrong just something they can blame workers for while they accrue millions doing nothing but checking their stock trading app. Corporations know how to stall or avoid living up to union contracts. We have gone from having real slavery pre-1850s to virtual slavery today. American cannot be a slave state. Then we complain about Russia and China. Globally we all have to let the population decline and start to clean up the problems of the world - not just work people to death.

I had a lot more respect for Lina Khan before I saw this than I do now .... from the very first example this video is really biased and dishonest, basing the whole case on one off-beat transaction that you did not like. I don't blame you, but that doesn't give you leave to slander Amazon and fail to relay the full picture. Your video is from your point fo view as a buyer ... then you switch to supporting sellers that are asking too much for their products and Amazon according to you removeds the "buy box". Well, guess what - add it to your cart and buy it that way ... takes a couple more clicks, and you are saying that is a monopolistic process? The monopolies of today are the health care, energy, internet, processed foods, etc ... whole sectors of the economy that rip-off customers while Amazon gives customers low prices and fast delivery. My conclusion is, sorry you did not get your sauna hat, but that does not support the argument you are making against Amazon at all.

  9. Why should Amazon devote warehouse space for you to store product for free? That is a service. I would cost you to store it, and you'd have to factor it into the price of whatever it is you are selling. When I sold on Amazon I just kept my stuff at home and packaged them and mailed them myself.

  13. I think that is a legitimate gripe. Search results on Amazon are presented in a chaotic way and they could do better. That said - Google and YouTube are the same way, and even worse. On Amazon one must be hyperaware of the "Sponsored" results. It's annoying, but it is not something that I cannot deal with easily

  14. The biggest most painful monopolies today are the big grocery chains who are causing our inflation because of corporate greed. That is a legitimate complaint that is hurting people all over the country. I buy groceries from Amazon Fresh and get free delivery if I order over $100, or I go to Whole Foods and prices are lower than the discount supermarkets in my area on most things. I think this video is very dishonest. I can understand being mad that you got the wrong thing, but that could be a seller error and it has little to do with Amazon.
