  2. I really like Vietnamese food. Thai food is too fatty, and Burmese food is too dry - lots of seeds and dry stuff. Japanese food is nice. I don't know much about other countrys' foods, but maybe most of what we get here in the US is not totally authentic. One thing though that I think is very ironic is that with the immigration of so many Chinese here in the Bay Area, CA, USA one might think that the Chinese restaurants would be getting better, but I've found that the Chinese restaurants here have gotten markedly worse and can not really find a good place to get Chinese food.

  3. Japan fascinates me and I am hopeful for Japan, whereas China is an open question. On the one hand they are developing and bringing a better life to lots of people, but as they do it they seem not to be improving or opening up.
