  1. Yeah, the idea that Biden should appoint Kasich to some important position to mollify angry Republicans is ridiculous. We all have to realize that there is a cold war within our country that is being by Republicans because of Democratic inaction. Kasich tried cynically to pretend he was middle of the road in order to gain some support from moderate Democrats, like Romney, but these Republicans and even a lot of Conservative Democrats never will change their tunes, they exist to shut out demands from a failing middle class so they get paid and have a position in the new corporatocracy regime - that is all. I have my problems with AOC, the squad, sometimes even Bernie as I think he knew he could not get elected and blew it for Warren to take the baton, but I just cannot support Establishment Democrats or Republicans ... and the reasonable parts of the Progressive message need to get out so people cannot be scared of Progressives. That means prioritizing and not trying to do everything at the same time. Get a win in health care, and education ... and then re-assess moving forward.
