The problem with Russell Brand is not that he is Liberal, Socialist or whatever, he gets most of the economic and legal stuff right, but when you listen to him talk, or rather parrot the stupidity of the fake-Liberal attitude on the Middle East, and how he mindlessly joined in support of the Palestinians even though he knows nothing of the history of issues. Someone has fed him a line about Israel and Palestine. He is a smart guy, very quick, so one wonders who and why he has to go so heavy in support of this primitive hateful tribal violence built into Islam?

The Bernie conversation is more complicated than that, and the media tries to get us to blame Bernie that he lost ... that alone tells us that there are huge forces in the media arrayed against Bernie. I'd love to see Bernie as President, and I will always vote or support him, but I am not sure what would happen with him as President or what he could get done. Bernie alone cannot do it, and he does not seem to have a lot of strong supporters sad to say that. Our top level public and private sector is a real problem, and we have let this develop over about 50 years ... and now there is no way to tear it down a start anew. Electing Bernie would be a start ... but the corporate military industrial junta is too strong and smart compared to the unwashed masses of Right and Left both.
