But there is such a thing as image consultant, and Public Relations, and they get paid huge amounts of money to look at the reaction of the public to the image candidates project. In order to get people to submit to listening and considering your solid policies you first have to not bug them or creep them out. Letterman is creepy, and he should acknowledge it and do something about it if he really wants people to like him and vote for him. If he is so into himself that he cannot do that - he shouldn't be running.

Politically I agree, but you don't think Fetterman looks more clownish? I wish he would he try to act more normal - drop the hood and the robe that makes him look like Uncle Fester.

When I look at the vicious and stupid behavior and policies of Republicans, and the low election rate of Democrats, I don't think any Democrat is really doing fine. They are getting destroyed and attacked in the media so often a lot of voters are brainwashed against them. Acting weird or off-putting doesn't help. If you think losing is just fine, well, that's just on you.

@ngotemna8875 I guess you are just real slow. I'm not criticizing or attacking the man. I personally would vote for him if I was in his state. He wouldn't have to worry about me. He has to attract other voters. What I am criticizing is the way he is trying to appeal to the public - he looks stupid and off-putting. So, yeah, I think appealing to run of the mill people matters. You are not worth bothering with if you think Uncle Fester is a good look for a representative of the US government and the people. With airhead supporters like you Fetterman hardly needs detractors.

I am a progressive Democrat, disappointed with the Democratic party and establishment, but Fetterman looks and acts like a total clown. He wears that stupid smock, or gown, or whatever it is ... makes him look like Uncle Fester. Why doesn't he look and act like a normal person? I think that goofiness will end up working against him.
