Thank you for making a thoughtful comment here among the insults and raving lunatics. Bernie is responsible and a good man ... the people who profess to follow him here make him look bad.

I agree with all this critical stuff on Tanden. I don't care for her myself. I've seen her on the Bill Maher show and other videos and am not impressed, but I also cannot really hate her for some tweets. I think she is wrong about Bernie, but Bernie is a target and he seems to be fine. What I think is useful and maybe even important is that Biden cannot just turn the giant ship of state around in 1 year or 1 Presidential term. He must do stuff to impress the American people. He must be seen as strong and successful. I assume he has a reason for choosing Tanden. I did not like quite a few of his nominations - but it is his call. I am not saying give him everything he wants in some delirious honeymoon moment, but raise hell when he actually does something. Stop trying to micro-manage the US military which is clearly not democratic or responding to the people, and has a global agenda. That is beyond the scope of what the Progressive movement can get done, and works to our detriment to argue and bicker ... because nothing is going to happen anyway. The military is a very long term issue, and we would be lucky to get their budget cut by 5% instead of raised up like Trump did. Baby steps is what we need in that area. In health care, and education we need giant leaps, and the American people will respond to those giant leaps. Focus there.

Not really, the Republicans are the enemy, the Libertarians are the enemy, the KKK, Proud Boys, Nazis ... those are enemies ... she is just an employee of the US government.
