  4. Nuclear - BY FAR It is expensive, but they last for 50 years or even longer, and they do not need a lot of manpower relative to other forms of energy. There is not a huge convoy of trucks bringing fuel in constantly, or pipelines, and they produce no real air pollution or toxic coal ash. Nuclear is really the only way to go.

Ethanol is BS .... yeah, per volume if you burn it, it creates less pollution, but it makes a lot of pollution to produce ... and worst of all it has a lower energy density so you have to burn more of it to the the same heat energy out ... meaning that you create just as much pollution as gas. It is a complete rip-off ... just like the rest of the BS American economy these days.

  12. You guys got one right .... nuclear is not only a good way to go - it is the only way to go. Even taking into account nuclear accidents ... though it is funny that we never take into account that nuclear like cars and planes and computers is always getting better, and would get even better better with most experience, the real choice is 1) Continue with fossil fuel and destroy life on the planet. 2) Go nuclear and risk a few local accidents in the future. Pretty easy choice in my book.

No, wrong, the data is not fine grained enough yet to know what people might either not react to the vaccine or have a negative reaction ... although there is never been even one proven case of serious complications due to the vaccine. Notice how over a year later finally we hear less from the embarrassed fools who slammed the vaccine and made up lies about.   19. I think Ritter is great in terms of being willing to share his knowledge and opinions in a clear, concise and logical way. In a way this Ukrainian war is an opportunity to know who this man is and what has had done and has to say. I do think at some point he has to comment on the FBI sting operations against him, and his time in jail. It sounds like targeted harassment, but a lot of people look him up and find out about that, myself included, and I wonder how that happened and why he pleaded out to those charges. Ritter should be compensated for this harassment if that is what it was, and he should be freed to participate in American media, or those think tanks he talked about.

It does not matter if natural immunity - that you have to get by actually being infected with Covid and taking the chance of getting sick, maybe dying or maybe getting long-Covid, or if you get immunity by vaccine. Both will work towards you having resistance to getting Covid again, and if you do making further infections less serious and substantially less likely to get Long-Covid. What does it matter if the vaccine or natural antibodies are a little better or worse? They both will wane over time leaving you will the chance of being infected again. The vaccines are pretty painless, and very safe, except for psychologically unstable people who either make up or believe all kinds of scare-stories about the vaccine. You can take control of your health by getting vaccinated. You roll the dice if you leave it up to nature to seek you out and make you sick again.

The US dollar is not based on puffery, and it is a reasonable thing to have a currency by fiat and not based on some external manipulatable commodity or value. What backs up the US dollar has unfortunately been the US military, and the people running it have been incompetent.

Ukraine is eventually going to collapse militarily, it just cannot scale like Russia can, even with the NATO or US resupplying ... and this should have been, and probably was understood by the US/Ukraine and NATO. So, why did Ukraine kill off so many of its own people, send them packing into Europe, and allow their historic sites and infrastructure to be destroyed? That is all on Zelensky, which is exactly what I have been saying since the day this began, Zelensky is going to be a hated figure in Ukrainian history at some point in the not too distant future.

I agree with you ... but the US military is all about fighting in places and ways to develop new technology and to keep, or try to keep, our fighting men and women battle ready. You know that. That is just what the US has always done. Then we develop fancy military technology, and eventually spin it off into consumer products. He may not be right all the time, and he can go off the rails at times ( 4:35 ) but he sets up a framework to view this situation that makes a hell of a lot more sense than anything we are hearing from the media or the government, or Ukraine. He has done his homework, and has the experience to know what he is talking about. I'd love to hear Scott Ritter debate Joe Biden now!

  44. Uh, Putin wants to build cooperation on the basis of democracy .... from Russia? That is pretty suspect since democracy is based on free speech and free information, and Russia is not great in either regard. I just want to see some evidence of all of this peace, love and understanding from Vladimir Putin ... that's all. Because otherwise it's pretty much just more of the same horse poop all leaders today feed their people. As Scott Ritter has said, this has been in the planning for a long time, and Putin has been working the political angle on this for at least a decade. You ask what should the US do when Russia invades ... and the answer to that is - do something before Russia invades - in fact long before. But even shortly before Biden was on the news trying to stir up militaristic jingoistic anti-Russian lies and propaganda ... when if he really cared why didn't he try negotiating with Putin? Because this is what the US thought it/we wanted. Even Kissinger and other experts a decade ago said this NATO expansion would eventually lead to war. But - just keep the American people in the dark and feed them a diet of lies and war-mongering and we won't do anything ... for at least 20 years ... huh? That's what it was in Afghanistan. Meanwhile Americans are dying and going bankrupt for lack of healthcare, and they cannot afford to get education. And now gas and groceries are so expensive a lot of Americans cannot even afford to live. What kind of idiotic incompetent government do we have?
