  2. I like Sam. Sam is definitely a good man, with a lot of good things to say that we should be listening to. But, I like facts and ideas better than I like any people. We have to be facts seekers, and oddly that should be a religion with human beings that we always go with the truth whereever it might lead.

  3. i don't think people have lost critical thinking, it is mostly that our media hides it from us - on purpose. We cannot figure out the why and the who and the how of it because we need a media for that to work

  4. Question: There are many of us who agree that right now the biggest local threat to the USA is the Republican Party. They are tearing the country apart by pushing their economic dominance into the government and buying it and then changing it in ways that most Americans do not understand or do not see. How likely is it that the Worldwide Jihad movement is influencing or taking over the Republican party through means of bribery or worse?

  5. I think things like religion are actual things by virtue of them being treated like actual things. There is a, maybe, a religious space in all our brains, and we don't know exactly what is it, but badmouthing religion and blaming every bad thing in history on it is retrograde & stupid. There is a thing where humans focus on fantasies to do some particular end in a vision. Usually if they can co-opt people to work with them there is a positive vision at least at the start, or a lie. We need to socialize and educate people to look past the games that our incompetence in social engineering has limited us to, and look long term with an eye towards creating an ever-changing, ever-growing, ever-expanding vision of the past, present and future and our places in it - together.  That is art, or a kind of art.
