  1. Remembering this event, I think it is loosened significantly whatever grip America had on sanity in a permanent and scary way. It always throws a pall of sadness on me whenever I think of this or am reminded of it.

  2. He's right, this case is so cliched it tires people out just to think about it and throws a spanner into the works of the country and reality to such an extent that people just deny the conspiracy because it sits better with them.
