The people in the Democratic party actually are being paid to herd Democrats to the right, over to the Republicans - because it doesn't have to be for very long. The Republicans are almost locked in now everywhere with the gerrymandering, and the Democrats in on the fix. It is all window dressing. This is revolution territory, at least according to the writings of most of our Founders ... they would never expect Americans to sit still for this screw job.

There was not alternative ... Stein is an airhead and would never win because she was not even on the ballot in all states ... grow up. Democrats making bad decisions is why Republicans win.

LK ... Where did you get your alternative fact that you can call Bernie Sanders pro-war? Jill Stein has never been a leader, she is an air-head. An air-head with values that I respect, but that does not mean that she would be an effective leader and that I would want her for President, or that there is any chance that she would win. So dishonest people like you resort to stupid accusations against Bernie, and we can all see that you are most likely a right-wing fraud working against Bernie because the right wing knows that he will probably win if he runs in the next election.

What does pro-drone mean. I am pro-drone if it means not having to send soldiers into deadly places to find ISIS. Anyone dumb enough to be recruited by ISIS is not going to give a damn what Bernie Sanders or anyone else thinks about drones. Are you daft? Sanders is not even mentioned in the article you cite. You shift you argument from idiot point 1 to idiot point 2 and back and forth to attack Bernie Sanders. Like I said, where does it say Bernie is pro-war. You know he's never uttered anything remotely like that, or that could even be interpreted to mean that. Stein is an airhead. She knew she was not going to win, and she could have saved the country and the world, or at least made an attempt to by asking voters to support Sanders or Clinton. If all you care about is the anti-war agenda fed to you by the alternative media, and you do not bother to look at reality then you will come up with ineffective behaviors like supporting Stein. I don't say I dislike what she says or stands for in large part, but the net effect of her candidacy and what the Greens are doing is sadly ineffective at best and destructive at worst. The Democratic party needs a huge overhaul, Bernie proved that and got way more votes than Stein, and he has leadership experience. Stick with Bernie and the Democrats to see what can be done and you have thousands of times more chance of changing things for the better.

Let's say it's true the Democrats have little to offer ... that means 1. You either vote Republican or you help Republicans win. 2. You vote Democrat to counter the Republican party, but you must also get involved and fix the Democratic party, which used to the party of the working class. Take it back. Be a cooperator and uniter within the framework of what already exists because at least in the last election would have let to less stupidity like Trump's health care and tax proposals. Why would you want to act in such a way as to give Republkicans more power so they can cement their party in the top position and make it that much harder to unseat them? I can only imagine you are either disingenuous and working for the Republicans, or you are stupid, or you could just be blinded by reckless idealism

The war is a horse of a different color. In the case of the war a lot of Democrats voted for it to show national solidarity. You can try to make more of that than is there, but it was going to happen, and to not vote for it would have lots more people dismissing Bernie or even Hillary on less shaky grounds. Voting for the war was the thing to do, sorry to say. The American people overwhelmingly demanding their representatives vote for the war in this case - whether it was right or wrong did not even enter into it. Bernie has disagreed with Clinton on plenty of things as well, as he mentioned in the debates. To namecall Bernie a sheepdog make you dogshit SB ... pure dogshit, and you have no good intent or peaceful intent in any of that.

Because as you found out, but still don't seem to understand, when you do not vote, or when you vote for a marginal candidate that is statistically not in the running, it is like giving free votes to the worst candidate. I suppose of some of my fellow Liberals are too fucking stupid to figure this out, I am the intelligent Liberal just have to pound sand because you are not going to learn shit or help the cause. In fact, there were actually plenty of trolls, and you may even be one, that egged people on to not vote, or vote for Jill Stein, or even the nutso governor or Arizona, Gary ??? something I forget now. You cannot look at and grab at what you prefer, like a little kid reaching for chocolates ... because in the case of a vote you cannot get something ... you can only help sway large numbers. There were two choices - Clinton or Trump, It was easy to see what was going to happen with both. - Tax breaks for the rich vs. the middle class - Some evolution of ObamaCare vs. end ObamaCare and throw millions off insurance, and cost others many billions more dollars. - Some evolution on student loans and college versus Trump University. You'd have to be an idiot to tell me you do not get that. The problem with Democrats is that they are lazy and stupid. They stupid for the reasons above, and lazy because they usually do not even vote in off-Presidential election ... and that is why the house and senate are full of republicans.

I am not defending the Democratic Party, I am against deserting the short cut to getting power in this system by taking it back under control of the people, instead of trying to re-invent the wheel. Trying to get the Green Party up to the power and branding of the Democrats is not going to work, and meanwhile every election the Liberals/Left will lose. How much longer do you think that can go on? The Democrats are practically gone in terms of representation. Again, most people vote for President and then whine for 4 years without doing or following anything,. You want change, you have to find out what is going on and tell other people. You have to fight the power, not go over and play cookies and milk with the Green lady who has no political experience. You see how even people in his own party are attacking Trump ... what do you think it would look like if it was Stein, who has no party solidarity behind her? You know I am right, but you refuse to accept it, that is what makes you that name that I called you.

Even if that was true, it doesn't rationalize not voting, voting for Trump or voting for a marginal candidate ... no way you can look at it and think that is going to help anything. What a third party needs to succeed is something to decimate one of the other parties, such as the Democrats, by moving their voter base and changing their loyalties. Bernie Sanders might be able to do that, but not Jill Stein - no way ... she did not even register on the needle in terms of national votes, and she was not on the ballot in all 50 states. You can call me clueless or whatever, but the fact is you don;t know what you are talking about and you cannot logically analyze what is happening in politics, you can just toss around accusations.

The "nowhere else to go" thing is the genius of the American Plutocratic establishment, and the media over time figured out how to herd people from that basis. Nowhere else to go means set up the system as rigged, and then the media in concert reports on things a certain way ... and then the FAKE opposition media - like here, in general makes anything farther left than the mostly FAKE Democratic party looks disgusting and repugnant ... and that my fellow Americans is how you establish totalitarianism in a free country using billions of dollars stolen from the people - just like using money from slavery to entrench racism and slavery in America's society. We would not be seeing this crap if the Left was not just as much rigged as the Center and the Right.
