  5. The new paradigm is that the economy needs to work for everyone. It has long been a joke that the country is socialized at the top ... that is we all have pay for the mistakes and greed of the elites and corportions, but it is cold hard capitalism at the bottom. In the developed world workers who work should get the guarantees of citizenship - health care, legal protections, education, etc. That would be the way to develop the world the quickest. We see nothing but extortionary pricing and tyranny with laissez-faire capitalism. Your jingoistic claim about workers is what is ruining our country and driving all our metrics down. What you said is useless really, The freedom to starve or to be a slave is not a freedom at all.
