  1. I think there is a certain stability, which has good and bad points, to having two parties. The problem is not the number of parties, it is that the parties are run by money and rich people, and they pretty much always were, but because of technology and inequality it is a disaster now. Changing random variables is not the answer ... getting money out of politics, and regulating the media are two things that might ... I don't see another party as helping, in fact it can cause instability and volatility that our country may not be able to take.

  2. Basically if you were for Bernie and thinking straight you have to admit that the best thing is to show solidarity with Bernie, giving him more power and draw in the media than he initially had. The way to do that is to follow what he thinks is the best path, which sadly is to support Clinton. It is not perfect, but the logic is unassailable ... Greens pull votes away, and if Clinton wins with a landslide, then Bernie will get the credit and Clinton may, or will have to give attention to the Left. If they split off and are all over the place the Democrats will just keep ignoring them. Then there is the Supreme Court as well. I have been trying to find a way to avoid it, but I cannot, the only thing that makes sense is to show up for Hillary, and demand she follow a more Progressive agenda ... what else is there to be done?

  3. It is not my logic or anything other than the power of the very rich and the corporations that let them "run over us". It is because they set the agenda because life is mostly about business and people like you either do not have the time, or the education or just refuse to pay attention to politics and get involved in a coherent way. Given that, more parties and more candidates are not going to help, in fact they will hurt. If people gave more money and more support to Bernie he would have had this election. And once Bernie's ideas started to be known the people would be on the rise again. The difference in the US and the rest of the developed world is that the US the people do not care and do not unite in the US, and the people are stupid and uneducated. That is the major difference.
