I can sympathize with that, and I am glad you believe it, but in my opinion, no one really knows that for sure, and the last time the Democrats veered to the Left was with McGovern it was the worst loss of any Presidential candidate. The world has changed since 1972, but no one knows for sure ... and what I do not really know is if our elections are even real. It begins to look to me like this is all a huge reality TV show that is managed by the largest and most powerful corporations who control all the money. They are not going to let Bernie just waltz in and take that away from them, no way.

  2. Everything that the Democrats latch on to, seems to me to be developed by the right-wing think tanks to marginalize Democrats and make them lose. The right-wing has managed the Democratic party, and then partnered with lots of right-wing hate speech about Democrats any anything associated with the Left so that all they have to do now is to raise their voices and people walk away. Americans have to start realizing how huge the "brainwashing" conspiracy against them, called out as the Left and communists when in fact they are very American, to screw the people and turn them against each other strategy has worked, and that it does not serve them. The solution is to take back control of the economy ... the economy belongs to the billionaires and so therefore does the government. The only solution is economic reform ... democracy ... fairness. Note how the discussion in 2008 was sidetracked to "INEQUALITY" ??? We do not need, nor will the world ever have, or really even want EQUALITY ... what we need is fairness, justice and democracy, and to not be herded and controlled by those who have all the wealth and power.

  3. The other thing is that if Democratic voters cannot even get it together to register Democratic and vote in the primary ... Bernie or anyone else has no chance. In our country voting is pretty easy. It is an effort and it can have a cost to poor people, like having to take off work, but that is nothing compared to righting the Revolutionary or the Civil Wars ... and still people do not believe, understand ... or their votes are being tossed out.
