Look at China's building up its military and talking belligerently, the South China Sea, etc. To do what we have been doing with China has been stupid, but to take it forward would be dangerous and suicidal.

No doubt Putin miscalculated ... but the West miscalculated more, and forced Putin's hand, or at least in his own mind Putin gamed that he had to make a big statement about this continued encroachment and attacks from the West chipping away at Russia's economy. Why do we do this? Why is it Russia has been continually demonized and harassed since the end of WWII, but somewhere along the line we become OK with China and shipping them jobs, factories, IP, and trillions of dollars, but Russia is treated like we are still in the Cold War ... especially when the Cold War as new facts reveal was mostly pushed by the West to keep Russia out of competition over Europe's economy so the US could establish hegemony there?

  13. It is the total political corruption - due almost totally to Republicans and their donors and how much money and propaganda power they have had behind them for decades. They have destroyed the environment, destroyed the economy and hurt a lot of people in a lot of ways ... and now they refuse to acknowledge it, fix it or pay their taxes for it. These are not Americans, they are barely human beings if they ever are.

I wish him good luck because I don't think he's done that badly at Twitter ... he just has a worse mouth than Joe Biden in terms of putting his foot in it or outraging someone. I did like what he had to say about Palestine and Hamas though, that was the kind of thought he ought to give to everything he says.

It is really super annoying how the announcers on these shows take over all the space, they go off-topic, tell stories, make fun of how people dress, and then talk slow and phrase the questions in the most lengthy way possible just to be in control. It is annoying as hell waiting for these people so they feel like they got their due by jerking everyone else around. Get rid of the announcers who do that.

If we want to change the world - let's get America right by example, not these endless BS wars that we always lose and blow our money on. I am all for Taiwan independence, and I hate China's expansionist ways, as I hate Russia's authoritarian system ... but all of this was because of Western mistakes. We alienated Russia by attacking it and never letting it into the European economy. That is what NATO is really all about - keeping American in Europe, and keeping Russia out. And we built China using its slave labor. And now the US is massively unequal with our own oligarchs and our own problems. Fix American First ... FAF, a lot better than MAGA.
