  1. When I was a teen-ager in the 70's I sometimes smoked pot, and the pot of today is nothing like that. It is similar, but I would rather go back to what I remember it being like in the 70's ... but I am not sure what the difference is. One difference is that in the 70's it was regular pot, with seeds. They took out the seeds so people could not grow their own. It's all done for money. Anyway, not into it today ... too much hype and it still costs a lot more. Way too many claims, and who knows what they are really measuring when they say THC? People need to be a lot more critical and suspicious of anyone who makes money off this stuff. If you want it ... grow your own. The point also is that they say the pot of today is much stronger ... but that implies it is the same only more so ... it is not just stronger ... it's different.

  2. I don't think male plants produce seeds. Cannabis is a weird plant, you can have male, female and hermaphrodite plants. The male flowers looks very distinctive and weird, they are not like female flowers and they do not produce seeds. The reason they do not allow the plants of today to flower is because, they say anyway, that once the plants flower the marijuana is not a as good or powerful. I think the reason they invented sinsemilla is that they did not want people taking advantage of the hard work of the breeders, so they figured out how to isolate the female plants. To me that means that the pot sold without seeds is different in kind, and I don't think it is as good. I am going to try some experiments growing and seeing if I can get a plant to grow and produce seeds, then test it out. I expect it will be really great, and probably even better than what they see in stores to protect their so-called IP.
