I thought Rattigan was great when I first heard him. Soon though he seemed to get a very swelled head, and wrote some stupid books and took on messianic airs. But he has something ... he cuts to the point and can be very good at it. This is a good place for him, much better than the lightweight TYT people with the entertainment effort they usually put forth. Good move to get Rattigan on.

I'm wondering if the bottom line to the banks is not just that business these days is too big a risk. There are so many disasters, unpredictable factors, disrupting influences, and threats of political influences that the banks and everyone else has no idea who to compute or to live in a risk environment like that, particularly when the big fish have so much economic, legal, political and media power. So, the end result is that our country ends up run by speculators and power brokers and everyone else is cut out.
