  1. Caitlyn Jenner gives the Republicans the superficial impression to the public that they are inclusive. Think about it ... the same thing with Tim Scott. All they have to do is to peel of a few nuts from the minorities and get them to vote Republicans, and the Democrats have done such a bad job and alienated the country so badly people left the Democratic party for Trump or god's sake. That is why. Their latest strategy online is that they all say they are not Republicans, they are independents, or they are not Trumpers, but he did some good things. Republicans mean to win upcoming elections, and then change the system to their advantage in a way that it cannot be changed back. Democrats are way behind, and frankly I doubt they can counter the massive power of Republican money and media power. People may wake up for one election, but how hard is it to keep people awake aware and energized to vote when things get difficult or they go back a little bit to normal? The Republican party is an existential threat to America and the rest of the world

  3. I think we need to realize that "this person" is just one of many gender non-conforming people, not like all of them, not a representative of anyone but "this person". I have a hard time with these issues in interviews because there is nothing here, nothing human, nothing groundbreaking, but political games. The models we get of transgender people are Hollywood, media, politicized and I'm going to guess dehumanized too. This gives me the creeps because I don't remotely think Jenner has any reason to run for governor. If Jenner want to the public to know Jenner, then do it in another way than messing with this screwed up CA governor recall.
