If you do the more highly focused thing it will end up being about issues like immigration and guns that always make Democrats sitting ducks for Republican exaggeration ... open borders, giving free money to non-citizens, taking away guns, etc. Democrats sound stupid insulting people, making fun of their penis size if they support the second amendment. All the areas that Democrats can insult and turn off Republicans from joining them are always the main issues in these debates. COINCIDENCE??? I THINK NOT! Democrats need to realize the immigration issue is a long-term battle/compromise issue, and concentrate on other issues. The main issue I cannot believe Democrats completely ignore is how the average person is being screw and has been screwed for so long on taxes until now all those taxes the rich didn't pay own their government. They need to explain marginal tax rates - with simple language and charts and graphs. Same with health care. Same with education. They are are big money makers in terms of American prosperity and productivity ... but the only thing that matters to Republicans is profits to billionaires. Bernie is 100% right on that ... except that he is wrong - the billionaires can seem to have it all!
