I'd bet that it does not happen very often that a graduate with a business plan gets refused residency in the US. I think that is most likely a myth, or as with Trump just another massive lie. Plus the people from other countries who stay here are often passing technology back to their home countries or in some cases spying for them. I doubt this was Trump's idea, and I doubt he would even do it - he just need to say something that gets attention and sounds like he is sincere in his efforts, which he is most likely not, and then in a few days it is forgotten.

@Momo_8k I seriously doubt that worthy people are rejected for residency here in the US. It is a huge strength of this country and its economy and society - but there is also spying, and social disruption because of it. We have too many Muslims in the US and we are going to start having problem like Europe when they get to a certain percent and it will be fast because they breed like ....
