This is a victory for the extreme Libertarians behind the Republican party who want to disable, insult, humiliate and destroy government and the people's faith in government ... which happens to be the only institution in Americans' lives that is not a tyranny, and where they have a say ... a vote. It is all in Thomas Frank's book "The Wrecking Crew: How Conservatives Rule", and how they idea is to put idiots like W's bud "Brownie" from Hurricane Katrina in charge of government agencies so the people think government is a useless expense, instead of demanding government work for them. Republicans at this point belong out of government at the very least, and probably better in Guantanamo as enemy combatants for all the misery and pain they are inflicting on Americans - undemocratically.
