  1. As one might expect from its history, Islam, for the Islamic elite is expert at the strategies for manipulation and propaganda. Reza Aslan came on the scene with this book about Christianity, raised a lot of interest and made lots of "fans" by appearing moderate and somewhere almost between dispassionate observer and downright atheist, like Cenk Uyger does as well, but the reality is they both seem to me to be more like deep cover propagandists. The way Reza and Cenk are always supportive of Islam, casting it in the victim status and they just cannot help themselves to fail to see a non-Islamic point of view. Maybe this is where they both get the impression that the West is anti-Muslim as people, because that programming is so deep they understand in ways that Westerners just cannot how saturated they are in the mindset of Islam. Islam is religious, it is political, it is social, and there seems to be no way to really change it, it is what it is, and therefore seem inimical to any other way of life and it has not had to be tolerant anywhere in the world for hundreds of years. That plainly shows. The whole FGM thing is also a dodge, as if by saying that FGM is not part of mainstream Islam, as if there was a mainstream Islam, that Islam is not problematic with women. The point is that Islam of course does not think it is problematic with women, because that is the way it is. Mainstream Islam my be hard to pin down but the tributaries all have to do with abuse and oppression, starting with Muslims. Look at just back a century or a little more in the Middle East they were raiding Jewish and other non-Muslim towns all over the place. Jews had to pay a Dhimmi tax every year to the local islamic authority, and they got struck as in a beating when they paid the tax to remind them of their dog status in Islam. This is a political system that thinks it has the ability to fool the world even though there is plenty about it that we all already know. It like a kid that pretends if they deny and lie enough that their parents will believe them, because they want to believe. Reza's image was particularly manicured to appeal to white American Christians. No beard boyish look, and very pleasant and funny when interacting with Western media. Go back and look at I think it was 2007 on the Bill Maher show he was pretending to be gay, and like there was a huge gay underground movement in Islam that was OK. Aslan is like a spy propagandist.

  2. By the way, either put Louis front and center and dress him in something other than a T-shirt or get rid of him. What is this sidekick guy doing here? Is he the resident Christian flunky or something? Every one of these blog shows just seems to always be uncovering some kind of ulterior motivations ... if you are an editorial show, just editorialize - you don't need an Ed McMahon unless you are trying to push something you don't really think people will buy into.

  3. +Fashion Earrings This is a very poor video, but you are right in your distinctions. Somehow about the time somewhere in the late 90's the far Left was being presented as almost Nazis, and there were hooks in the far Right that took advantage of this. For me I started to notice it in Pacifica Radio and in Democracy Now on radio and TV where they started to inject into the Leftist Liberal point of view this connection and support for the Palestinians. Maybe it was slow and captured people's hearts with the victimhood status always been reported in isolation without any history or context - all we saw were endless Palestinians victims on TV that the Muslims seemed all to happy to oblige to do their part. Reza Aslan is an extension of this propaganda effort, but I think ultimately it comes from the right, because the Rightist media is using it semi-effectively it seems to undercut the Left and call them terrorists or sympathizers.

  4. You should not, and you do not need to drag Christianity into your thesis here, it doesn't help and it is not true. You really lose me when you say that Hitler and most Nazis were Christian, that is bullshit. It is like saying that Hitler and most Nazis were German ... that there is something inherent in German culture that creates Nazis, and implies that Germans were and still are inherently Nazi-like, and that is not true. Nazism took hold in Germany. and German pride and Christianity were both tools and lies that were used to make racist distinctions between people to wedge them into social chaos and control. This kind of thing is something that is used socially or politically ... we had our Nazis in the US, and they were none of them particularly Christian ... ie Henry Ford, and some other elite industrialists who actually tried to take over the country, and really may have succeeded. These movements are used against the country ... but it is so much easier for Islam because it is everything just built right into it.
