  1. I like Gavin Newsom ... BUT ... 1) He is really a polarizing figure in America after having been a whipping boy for everything Progressive and California by the Right-wing media for years. 2) Is Gavin really what he says he is. Remember back to right before the 2000 and 2004 elections when Newsom decided twice to start marrying gays in SF ... something that I think energized Right-wing voters and contributed to W. Bush's fake victory. I don't think Gavin will help anything. I expected him to smash Ron DeSantis in their debate ... but he really did not do that well. So I have a lot of doubt about Newsom. If Fetterman did not look so weird, I think he'd be a good nominee. ;-)

  2. The American Left is painting itself into a very ugly corner. I always vote, and until there is some realitistic alternative always the straight Democratic ticket, so it is those swing voters that will make the difference. Something weird is going on with Biden, and he either needs to apologize and explain it, or get out ... but if he does not want to no one can force him to. That was such a humiliating disgrace, I can't believe Biden has the gall to even show his face in public. Thanks for being engaged in real time David Pakman! But, it was that bad.

  3. Exactly ... saddened by Biden's performance, but does that mean anyone would switch to vote for Trump? It might mean that people in swing states stay home, or even vote 3rd party though.
