  2. As a strong Leftist, the Left is full of bad ideas, faulty thinking, and unrealistic policies. They are hard to reach because so many of the Left of uneducated and deliberately ignorant. Not like those on the right, to be sure, but at least the right can hold together. For instance, I do not support the Palestinians, and when I say that or try to discuss the history of the area I get jumped on from the Left. Another issue is gun control. I think there should be gun control, but I also support the 2nd Amendment and believe any gun control has to be consistent with the 2nd Amendment. Same with several of the pet issues that the Left is defined by in the media ... and I think they are defined this way to make them argue among each other and fragment. The Left is difficult because we are a sub-culture inside the American military industrial complex, and so many are not cognizant of this and pay not respect to this fact. You cannot just wish and hope for some utopian chance, you have to do what they do in business ... a project plan. The right is great at this ... but their project plans are plans of evil. How to lie and cut off the voices and money of their opponents. They figured out how to de-fund government by tinkering with the tax system to make it regressive and then blaming the government for both not getting the job done and for taxing us. The Left is too busy bickering among themselves. Pundits on the Left do not do any real work, they hang out getting paid or becoming famous for being personalities with no particular expertise, visions or skills. Bernie is different, but even so, you cannot build a country and a movement solely on an old man with no institution or movement build around him. Bernie has been fantastic, but the people who support him do not really get what he is saying. They like it but they do not get it and they are not willing to do the work or pay the money. I never liked Jimmy Dore, or Sam Seder or even Pakman ... I am not here to find people I like, I am hear to listen to ideas and see where people are and what they say. Leftists demand that politics be fun, entertaining and immediately gratifying. The other thing they do is they are all fine and good when the subject is their particular problem or beef, but once it gets solved, or it reached a logjam. The Left are human too, and they have to fight against their worst impulses where the Right seems to inflame them.

  3. Destroy the movement? Is there actually a movement. Maybe it is you pundit guys who try to cover everything and end up with so many opinions you are bound to alien a good number of people. I think you do that for the entertainment value of those who are remain loyal, but it creates those silos. This was the good thing about the old Democrats, they stuck to a workable agenda. Now they have crept in with the anti-gun people, the anti-israel people, people who want to destroy the banks, ... I don't want to have to vote for all of this stuff of put something who is mainly pro-abortion in order to hope they will do the right about money in politics or corporate speech - they usually do not or can not.
