  1. If I never heard another peep out of MTG it would be too soon, but there are some energy intensive things such as A/C, hair-drying, washing/drying, etc that really use a lot of power and unless you have massive battery storage it's not a good fit for solar.

  2. No, I don't think the the solar you talk about runs all that stuff you say - because you are grid-tied. Your solar helps supplement the power the electric company generates, but you would pay through the nose to have a solar system with batteries big enough to run all that stuff. I would never side with Marjorie Taylor Greene ... Brown?, but she has a point. But it doesn't make solar useless or bad.
