The Japanese built the infrastructure of the island - the railroads. China called Taiwan Japan's unsinkable aircraft carrier.

You don't mention Qatar which some are saying in the nerve center of Hamas.

I have not heard anyone on either side of this war issue talk about the borders of Ukraine and how they have changed so much in just the last 100+ years, especially Crimea. Most of Ukraine seems to be Russian land grants - like Crimea. The country as far as I can find out has gone from a small landlocked nation to the largest country in Europe. It is a dangerous notion for Europe/EU to try to swallow this country of Ukraine. This is all about the US trying to inflict cost and pain on Europeans to keep them from trading too much with Russia. The US answer to that is to maintain perpetual war with Russia, and China as well. The US military industrial media complex ought to come clean to the American people and try to make the case with facts and logic that the US needs its empire in order to survive and for Americans to have the "cheap" oil that it has had. One other hand we have let Saudi Arabia buy into our oil production/refining industry in the US which was foolish and unstrategic and is hurting us. What benefit is this to average American non-billionaires/multi-millionaires. Make the case for this perpetual war status, or end this. It is killing Americans and has dragged our country to the bottom performers of the world.

LOL, right on!

The Neom megacity is a fascinating idea. The idea of a linear city makes so much sense in terms of preserving nature and the environment, because the round expanding city format eventually just turns into a massive cancer, and there is not reason to have everyone so close together with the Internet and electronic communication.

@dVector13 Col. Douglas MacGregor for one. Look it up, don't be lazy, Caspian Report will know.

> Why there is no Arab superstate. First, because there has been nothing super about Islamic culture for 400 years. Second, because the West kicked the crap out of the anthill of the festering Middle East. The Islamic Empire was a wonder 1000 years ago, the most advanced in the world, because it was diverse, creative and open. What happened?

But all they need to do is fire a rocket or two and oil prices in the US and the world go up big time.
1
Because Iran is up to mischief all over the world ... and they are not even a good governance for their own people - just for their elite religious fascists. Get rid of them.
1
Not cost $500 billion ... that is what they have budgeted to begin. Very interesting ideas, but .... MBS? AI law enforcing robots? Kind of spoils it for me.
1
All these wars are just a way to kill off the excess population that otherwise would be demanding political rights and reform - imagine all through history! Awful

3:31 - But this fragment appearance belies ... ( pronounced bee'-lies )
1
The more time goes by the more options Iran has, so the sooner the attack, the better.
1
4:35 - When you say China has been pushing the lines of control in the Himalayas ... what does that mean, and what is going on? What does a Chinese incursions in the ocean look like? Are they threatening or firing on non-Chinese ships? How can that be and the world knows nothing of it? Shouldn't that be just as big a deal as Russia and Ukraine, especially if it is happening on multiple fronts?
1
Good video, thanks. I think you conclusions at the end are not so solid, but there was a lot to think about here.

Why does China Obsess Over Taiwan is a better question?
1
Very interesting ... all we hear about is Taiwan. It would be good if China would mellow out on its domination and invasion threats towards Taiwan, then maybe people would realize the brilliance of a redistribution regimen in the world.
1
I'm so curious as to how you feel about that? One the one hand China offers a lot of development and business, but on the other ultimately they are a racial megapower and seeing how they handle their own areas, Tibet, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other regions within China - it has to be a little upsetting to get too close to China. Same with the US of course, but the good thing about China WRT Jamaica is that it is far away, where the US is breathing down its neck and has a history of massive interventionism in the Caribbean.
1
@StoutProper Yeah, that is, until they aren't. China is far more racist than the US, which is hard. When China has the power to dictate ... it does.

The Palestinians have been screwing themselves since Israel came into being, not to mention Iran/Lebanon and Hezbollah. They don't even pretend to want peace, or their own state, they are dedicated to war and death - totally. Slowly people are starting to realize this reality, and it is about time. Palestinians bring their problems on themselves. I hope the trends you denote continue to develop.

We know we are at war when the US story is manifestly wrong, nonexistent, or absurd. And that has meant all everyones' lives. Lotta that during the Ukrainian war, and it seems now. But we are always at war so one can guess that hardly any of our news to do with geo-politics is correct,

3:30 , 3:52 - starts about here really.

Human beings were miserable idiots ... and we are still not too bright.

Where is Lebanon in all of this?
1
This is all fomented by NATO expansion to keep the business clear for American interests and keep Russia on the sidelines. I don't care about Ukraine ... I care about Taiwan and China and how Russia would be a great ally with NATO - if NATO would not keep encircling it and threatening Russia. When has the US every really cared about democracy ... what a joke. We've overthrown plenty of democracies, but never created a single democracy.

Lots of great reasons why Iran's regime needs to be destroyed.
1
Euphrates .... YOU-FREIGHT-TEES ... is how you pronounce the name of that river in English ... just so you know. But, fantastic video, thanks.
1
So, why does Iran have all this weaponry to target oil shipments? Seems to me it is just a gun at the world's head ... so why should the world not want to destroy the Iranian regime and force them to be peaceful, or at least weak enough not to cause global problems? Iran's leaders are deluded with the idea they can take over the Islamic world ... and then the rest of the world in the extreme long term. This is totalitarian dictatorship as bad as the Nazis. Why do you defend Iran?
1
One thing is for certain, Hamas unless they are completely broken, and that has to somehow include their sick version of Islam, they will continue their culture of death. This doesn't look like it will work.

I have mixed reviews on your different videos, but this one is very good. Very nice layout for the source data on news, and that so much of our news is government and corporate. In this Ukraine thing I've never seen so much media propaganda and shutting our any other competing narratives. I do think China hardliners are being pretty ridiculous about their obsession with Taiwan when Taiwan is not necessary to China and is doing fine independently. Especially with the mess they've made of Hong Kong. I am for leaving China and Russia along and letting them have their respective spheres of influence, but the US destroys its middle class and makes lives of Americans the more difficult and miserable in the developed world to do this kind of waste of time BS,
1
@ZeelofTheMarty Taiwan does have a pretty good insurance policy as the supplier of almost all of the really advanced chips, but if China invaded it's very likely that the Taiwanese would blow those factories, and if they didn't the US would in order to keep that tech out of China's hands. That is not really a long-term strategy because the Chinese are moving so fast technologically and educationally. They say we are 5-10 years ahead of China technologically in semiconductor manufacture, we being the US and Taiwan. The US does not have the abilities Taiwan has, and from some of the lectures I've heard these plants and technology are upwards or $50-100 billion to build a plant like that. They are building maybe 2 of them in the US now. Thanks for accusing me of pushing my head into the ground and all the other insults. Show how little you know about me, which is obvious anyway since you know nothing about me and just be a twit you must think you have to assume the worst and insult me for it. I wonder who it is you are trying to impress with your condescension? Did you just have a bad day, or is every day a bad one for you because the world doesn't recognize how brilliant you are? If you actually had some kind of coherent point of view there would be no need for that BS or pretending you are some kind of expert on China-Taiwan-US. Anyway, thanks for wasting my time and yours.

5:51 - where is this incredible dome found? Still some of the most amazing architecture ever.
1
@corvus_monedula Thanks. The Pantheon is the largest dome. In my humble opinion it is not nearly the most impressive because if I recall it was the first of its kind. Architecturally and technically impressive, but also, hardly light or refined. Whatever that picture is, and no doubt it is Islamic, it's pretty amazing.
