  5. The US/NATO doesn't really need to be so powerful - because Russia will never attack NATO. They don't have the population. There is just no possible way that Russia, a country of 150 million people could invade and subdue and ruler the EU with 448 million people. They don't need to because Russia has huge untapped reserves of resources. The US is afraid to lose primary trade partners of the EU and that the EU would drop the US and trade with Russia. Our war is really a war to control the EU.
